We have selected a variety of good quality independent caterers to provide a decent and sensibly priced service to both the visiting public and the re-enactors and performers who will be on site. Richard and his team were at several of our events last year, and provide seriously good sausage-inna-bun.
Regular fixtures at Herstmonceux, specializing in sausages including wild boar and venison, hand made beef-burgers, sirloin steak, bacon rolls, and hot and cold drinks at very reasonable prices. Best Cheeseburger I have had in years, and the hot and spicy sausage REALLY is!

Trollsbottom Bar—Laurie Wignall’s infamous travelling tavern will be at Bodelwyddan, supplying the usual high standard of real ales, ciders, and to keep me happy, chilled lager. Oh, and a great selection of MEAD! Not to mention the Wenches….
